Unique easy-access impedance matching jumper setting without open the weatherproof seal box. If you enjoy an outdoor audio system, you'll love the convenience of outdoor volume controls! Now you can stop dragging the remote control outside where it is sure to get lost, or avoid having to get up and go to your audio source to turn the volume up or down. This pure resonance volume control offers 100 Watts of optimized sound quality with minimal bass roll-off. Control 1-8 pairs of speakers simultaneously with impedance matching. The autoformer design features outstanding sound quality due to high permeability steel utilization in the volume control core. Comes with Grey or white face plate. In addition, the OVC-100 includes an easy access impedance switch that lets you set the impedance without opening the box.

Simon Hamel • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM My setup is the following Onkyo TX-8050 80wpc w/zone A+B Zone A is used in the living room Zone B is used in the dining room. I have installed another pair of speaker for the patio. When I want to use these speakers, I simply swap the connectors on Zone B at the back of the amp. Simple but a bit annoying... I plan to install a speaker selector for controlling where I want to redirect Zone B speakers. Can the OVC100 be installed between the patio speakers and the selector ? How impedance matching on the selector will interract with that on the volume control ?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Simon, This volume control can work in line with a speaker selector but you first want to make sure your amp/receiver can handle the load created by multiple sets of speakers, volume controls and a speaker selector.
Steve • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM When wiring up an AV amp, but using the multi channel setting, would you use rear left and right for a pair of outdoor speakers and wired through one of your OSD-OVC100 sound control boxes?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Steve: It depends if your Rear channels are labeled as Surround Channels/Zone 2 output. If you are just connecting to a couple of surround channels in the surround mode they will be limited what ever discrete surround channel which will have limited bandwidth. What AVR Audio Video Receiver are you using, I can look up the owners manual on line and better answer your question? Note: The OVC100 will provide more control over your speakers allowing you to control the volume outside near your speakers. It would allow you to add a second pair of outdoor speakers and control the impedance settings. But that is a mute point if we can not determine your outputs on the AVR. TL/3142
Tom • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM We are wanting to add additional speakers for the patio. Was thinking of the OSD-OVC 100 volume control for these speakers. Currently we have a in-wall 4 speaker selector switch. From this it goes to in-wall impedance matching volume controls with these controls also having an on/off switch. The manual on the OSD-OVC says for 4,6, or 8 speakers and you need to select which setting. What I'm wondering, on my existing volume controls, if I turn the switch to off does that mean that I need to change the setting on the OSD-OVC (number of speakers). Also, if I add the patio speakers, that brings me up to 7 sets of speakers. I have found an in-wall speaker selector switch (sorry but it is on a different web site) that allows 7 sets of speakers to be hooked up. Since the OSD-OVC allows multiples of 2 on the speakers allowed, can I use 7? Just can't seem to find an in-wall speaker selector switch that has 8 sets. Thanks Tom

Hi Tom: I am sorry I am a little confused on what products you are using and how they are configured. I can help you if I have a better idea of your total system. What are you using for sources, Amplification, Type of speakers and what is the Speaker Selector and Volume controls you are currently using that you mentioned. A basic connection diagram would help as well. TL/3201
Tim • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I just bought the OVC 100 along with a pair of the rock speakers (thanks). I have an Onkyo Amplifier where the "B" Channel is supplying a single set of patio speakers running to the pool. My goal is to use the OVC100 to control the volume for the new rock speakers and existing Patio (Outrigger Jr. 8 Ohm) simultaneously. . On the output on the OVC, would I just connect two Lefts (one Rock Speaker, one Outrigger) with the Left Output and same approach with the right. I am looking for consistent volume and didn't want to control each set of speakers differently.
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Tim, Yes, you would just parallel both speakers on each channel. How many watts per channel does your receiver push out?

it's an Onkyo TX-SR 500 which pushes 65 Watts per channel.
