Bryan • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I have 4 each aw6500 Definitive outdoor speakers, I want to put two of these speakers on one volume control. Would this be the one I need to order?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Ok so the ovc 300 volume control for two speakers on porch and i just wire other two speakers around pool directly from reciever? What setting for two speakers?
Dan • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I installed 2 Sonamp Digital Amplifiers on a Sonarray system, one is bridged on the left channel and one on the right. The amps are rated @ 325watts when bridged at 8 ohms. Will the OVC305R handle the power?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Dan, The OVC305R can only handle 300 watts per channel max. I don't believe it would be safe to run with the amp in bridged mode.
Bob • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I have a pair of Polk audio Atrium 4 outdoor speakers. What volume controol would be the best for me to use? The OVC300 or the OVC305R. Any help is appreciated Thanks
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Bob, Go with the OVC305R since you are only running a pair of them.
Brad • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I have a pair of Pyle outdoor speakers rated at 200w RMS/400w peak each. The highest rated volume control I can find is 300w peak. Is there a product just like this one that is rated for 400w? If not will this be okay as long as I don't push the speakers to the highest volume? Or am I out of luck if I stick with these speakers? Thank you!
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Sorry, not that I know of. Our max is 300wpc. Possibly could work if you limited the volume on your receiver so it's not pushing out so much power? Might want to talk to the manufacturer of the receiver to see what they recommend.
Greg • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I installed the OVC305R connecting my Sony receiver B channel 6 ohms output to a single pair of Yamaha 6 ohms speakers. The right speaker only works when the volume knob is turned up to 9 or above. I've tried swapping speakers and re-wiring but it appears to be the OVC305R that is the problem. Any suggestions?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Greg, It sounds like the issue could be that the volume on your receiver isn't loud enough. That's usually the source of the problem when the volume control starts acting strange. It needs power to run through it for it to function properly, and then you can turn the volume down via the volume control itself.
