Hi will these speakers work with my SA5 amp and my Lifestyle 650?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Gary:
The BOSE SA5 features a Bluetooth Receiver with no Bluetooth Transmitter. This information is from the Owner's Manual; Speaker connection guidelines
Use only unpowered speakers. Do NOT connect any make or model of powered
speakers. Doing so may cause damage to the equipment.
One pair of speakers requires 4 ohms minimum each.
Two pairs of speakers require 8-ohm minimum each.
I am also assuming you can connect with the Lifestyle 650 with a Bluetooth enabled device just like you would connect to the BTR150. You would need a newer Phone that allows you to connect to 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time. I believe that is a feature found on the Samsung Galaxy9. But there is no direct connection between either the BOSE SA5 or the Lifestyle 650. I am sorry about that.

will these speakers work with my yamaha rx-v890 and a miccus home rtx transmitter , and how would the volume be controled ?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Richard:
I do not believe the dated Yamaha 5.1 Receiver would be a good match with your Miccus Bluetooth Transmitter/Receiver. The MIccus cannot do both transmitting Receiving at the same time so it cannot be used as a long-range extender unless you connect a source directly to the Miccus with a hard wire. An aux cable from your smartphone headphone jack to the 3.5mm input on the Miccus. Then your Miccus would sync with the BTR150 via Bluetooth. You would have to control the volume on your smartphone.
And in some cases, you will want to download an Equalizer boosting app for your Bluetooth enabled device. The Yamaha lacks a conventional pre-output (like a Zone 2 or Zone 3 pre-out of the newer receivers). You are also limited on source inputs as well. There would be a pre-out for your rear channel surround speakers if you were planning to use the BTR150 as part of the 5.1 system. You might want to ch
Good luck

How long is the cable that connects the master speaker to the slave? How long are the short cables that come out of the master and the slave?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi James:
The length of the speaker cable that comes in the box is 20 to 30 feet. The lead wire coming from the Master and Satellite speaker is 36" for each speaker.

It say sold in pairs. Is the $128.84 price for one or two
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Shirley:
The BTR150 sells as a kit with one Master Rock Speaker which has both an internal Bluetooth Receiver and two-channel stereo amplifier built-in. That is why you have an AC power connection to the master speaker. A speaker wire connects the Master Rock to the Satellite Rock Speaker with a two conductor speaker wire included in the kit (25 feet). So the Kit includes a pair of speakers based upon the price online.

Can you pair multiple sets of these speakers?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI John:
Good question, unless you have a device like a new Samsung Galaxy Smartphone that has an app that will allow you to connect to more than a single pair of speakers like the BTR150 which has a Bluetooth Receiver built into the Master Rock. I know they have the technology which will allow you to sync. I Googled this question, and this was one of the Apps that recommended, check it out (ampme): https://thenextweb.com/apps/2017/01/06/ampme-is-a-party-in-your-pocket-that-connects-multiple-bluetooth-speakers/ I heard they are developing a chip that will supposedly allow you to connect up to 80 Bluetooth components. So stay tuned, I know Bluetooth is getting into the whole house control game.
