I'm looking to replace my current outdoor speakers with these bc the old ones have run their course. They will be outside at my little league ball field. Plan on buying 2 pair. Will these speakers fill the playing area with sound. Won't be anymore than 75ft from any one speaker. All speakers are currently firing toward the field.

Hi Stephen,
Our AP520 patio speakers are excellent patio speakers with 5.25” drivers. With the open space of a baseball field, you might not get enough coverage, particularly if you were at the far end of 75ft from the speaker. We suggest going to the larger, 6.5”cone size of our AP640 6.5" pair for better all-around sound.

Do I just hook these speakers up to my stereo,, then I can listen to music out on my deck or do I have to buy additional equip?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Sharon,
These patio speakers can be connected to a receiver or stereo as long as it has enough power to drive them. We also offer wireless speakers that are self-powered that you can connect to an iPod, receiver, laptop, etc. If your stereo receiver does not have enough power, we suggest looking at the AMP120 or the RX4105.

Really, how do these speakers sound? In a 400 sq. ft. yard? Powered by a Luxman R1040 receiver, 8 ohm amp? While music is playing on zone A.
thanks - mike

What's the difference between AMP120 or the RX4105? The AMP120 is currently sold out, can I just get the RX4105?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Carolina,
The RX4105 is a suitable alternative. This is an A/V receiver that features AM/FM radio as well as other functions not typically included in amplifiers like the AMP120.

Can I connect this to a TV or dish receiver by the optical outlet or the red and white cable ? I want to be able to hear music outside. Can I hook this up myself? I'm a women alone .
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Nancy,
These speakers will actually need an amplifier to run them, something like our AMP60. You can then plug your receiver into the AMP60 via RCA (red/white) cable and run the AMP60 to the speakers via speaker wire. It's quite a simple setup as long as you have the amp, speakers, RCA cable, and speaker wire. Call us for further help! Thanks.
