Okay, bear with me,as I am a Novice. New home, I had pre-wired to covered 15' X20" patio. These look to be good choice. Receiver is Yamaha RX-V661. Plan is to buy RS670 rock speakers for pool deck. Will run up to 100' each from receiver. Patio is 12' above pool deck. How can I control different volumes to each set of speakers, as I don't want to blow away patio folks. Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,
It's best to put a volume control on the speakers you want at a lower volume. We suggest our OVC300 volume control on your patio set.

On using the volume control to the patio speakers...if they were pre-wired, 9 ft apart, how do I attach (wire) a volume control. Thanks
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi David,
The volume control goes anywhere in line between the patio speakers and the amplifier. You might have to reconfigure the wire to a place where both left and right channels go into the volume control and out to the speakers.

I am setting up an outdoor theater, do you sell any of these speakers separate? Need 3 for the front.
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Casey,
The AP640 outdoor patio speakers are sold in pairs. For your front stage, you will need by two pairs and keep one as a spare.

I bought a pair of AP650 speakers back in 2007. Unfortunately, one of them refused to work after the last winter season, so I need to buy a replacement (pair). I was thinking about trying out the AP640.
Can you tell me if the mounting brackets for the AP640 are the same as the AP650? My old AP650 are mounted onto stucco and it would be great if I could just use those.
Thanks!
Brian

Hi Brian,
The mounting brackets are the same for both our AP650 and AP640 patio speakers.
