“Just installed the speakers and they sound great. Excellent for the price. I do think the speaker mesh cover is pretty flimsy. Barely touch it and it pops in with a dent. Easy to take off and pop back but it shouldn't be that flexible. Hope they work outdoors in Florida.”

“This is my first set of outdoor speakers and the 650s sound better than I could have hoped for. These have the amount of bass you'd expect from 6.5" drivers. So, indoors, there's plenty of bass and these sound great.The problem is that NO small speaker like this can generate enough deep bass to fill an open, outside area. If you want a full sound then a subwoofer is a must. Once I added a subwoofer these went from sounding great to REALLY great. Very happy with them. Also, don't forget to break in your new speakers. Before installing, I connected these to my indoor system and played loud, bass-heavy music for about four hours. That really opens them up quickly. Love the mounting bracket.”
