A heavy-duty 350-Watt A/B two-channel dual source amplifier for use as a remote or single amplifier.

    • Ideal for powering whole-house audio system or dedicated home theaters
    • Equipped with 350 Watts per channel peak power, 470 watts Bridged Mono into 8 ohms
    • Dual source capable for greater listening flexibility
    • Clean, brushed metal front panel with a volume control, power on/off button and balance control
    • Protection circuitry safeguards the amp from a short circuit
    • Can be configured as bridged or stereo amp
A solid high-power amplifier does more than make the sound you love louder. A well-built power amp cleans up sound quality, improves bass response and delivers the right amount of power to efficiently drive multiple speakers in distributed audio system or home theater. Our AMP300 is a flagship amp that sells well for a reason. This 350-Watt A/B two-channel dual source amplifier is ideal for use as a remote amplifier to power your whole house audio system or as a single amp for a dedicated home theater or media room, and you won't find an amp with the same features that we pack in at such an affordable price. It is stable at 2 ohm load.

    Dual Source Switching
The AMP300 also includes dual source switching to connect two audio sources and toggle between them for greater listening flexibility. Automatic source switching switches between connected sources with a priority signal-sensing feature, so if a DVD player is connected to input 2, then you decide to stream a movie through a game console, when the console is turned on, the AMP300 automatically switches to that source. The AMP300 also includes a variable delay control that lets you adjust the amount of time needed to "listen" for a signal from your main input, between 3 and 15 seconds. This prevents gaps between music tracks from accidentally switching your inputs. This high power amplifier includes two RCA signal level inputs so with the addition of an RCA-to-mini stereo cable (sold separately), you can connect your smartphone or other device.

Plenty of Power for the Price
Pair our AMP300 with the power-hungry speakers, and the sound quality will transform your listening experience. Rated at 350 Watts per channel peak power (470 Watts Bridged Mono into 8 ohms), the AMP300 can be configured as bridged or stereo. In bridged mode, you can combine the left and right channels into one audio channel which bumps up the power to a whopping 470 Watts (8 ohms). When playing dual sources, switch to stereo mode which reduces the power to 350 Watts per channel. It is the only high current 2 ohm load stable amp in the market.

    Features
The AMP 300 also includes two sets of speaker outputs with front panel controls, auto-on signal sensing or 12-volt trigger, rear panel master level controls, dual line-level inputs with priority override switching and dual voltage of 110V/220V and auto signal sensing. This amp has a clean, brushed metal front panel with a volume control, power on and off button and a balance control knob to adjust the balance between the left and right channels and dial in just the right sound level mix. Special protection circuitry safeguards the amp from a short circuit.

    What's on your mind?

Mark • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Forgot to ask one question. Does this amp have a pre-out? How would I wire a powered subwoofer to my system from this amp assuming I mono bridge out to the selector switch? Would it still be possible if I used 2 zones out to the switch?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Mark: First, there is a Line 2 Pre-amp output that is a pass thru for sources connected to Line 2 input. The amp features automatic source switching where you can have two sources connected. Anything connected directly to line 1 when activated comes on instantly and takes priority over the Line 2 input. Note, Only a source hooked to Line 2 input will play through Output #2. The minor problem would be if you have both Line 1 and Line 2 connected and playing then Line 1 would take priority and play through whatever speakers hooked to Speaker A or B or both A and B at the same time. Line 2 would not be heard through the speakers but would be passed through to the powered subwoofer. Regarding Bridging the AMP300, you can only bridge one output either A or B. And nothing else. It also needs to be an 8-ohm load. People who want to bridge this amp purchase two AMP300, one for the right channel and the second one for the left channel. The amplifier is a true High Current Amplifier that is 2 ohms stable. I hope that helps. TL/5301
Chris Tabeling • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM My Onkyo TX-8260 has only 1 pre out zone 2 a@b. Speakers are Klipsch RP 8000F 150/600 w. 8 ohm. Can I hook up two more speakers, or do I need another pre out on receiver? Thank's
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Chris: The AMP300 is perfect for your application. You would connect the first pair of speakers to Speaker A output of the AMP300. And a second pair to the Speaker B output of the AMP300. The AMP 300 would connect the ONKYO Zone 2 Preamp output to the Input # 2 of the AMP300. There are speaker A and B switch on the front of the AMP300. You can play either A or B or both at the same time. Great Choice TL5383
Chris Tabeling • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM I will connect my one zone 2 preout on Onkyo 8260 receiver to line one on amp. Is there a way to connect my regular speaker connections on receiver to amp so I can switch between using amp or just receiver? On receiver that would be main room or zone 1. Are the speaker-in connections for this?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Chris: You can connect the pre-amp zone 2 to line 1 input. Then connect either Speaker A or Speaker B output from the ONKYO receiver to the Speaker Level inputs of the AMP300 making sure to set the switch above the inputs to the number 2. Switching between the two inputs is automatic with Line 1 taking priority. When you turn off whatever connected to Line 1, then Line 2 comes on after a slight delay (adjustable between 3 and 15 seconds). Note, Line 2 output is a thru put connection for whatever you have connected to Line 2 input (either speaker level or signal level). Note: you can add a powered subwoofer to the ONKYO Receiver Sub Pre-amp connection. But you will need to make sure to connect the Speaker A of the ONKYO to the speaker level inputs of the AMP300. The pre-amp sub output does not work with Speaker B of the ONKYO. Good choice TL/5384
Ric • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM is this unit able to be rack mountable? what are the dimensions of the amp? are rack ears available for it?
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Ric: The AMP300 and AMP200 are not rack mountable. They do not have the screw holes in the chassis. We will change the bullet point to reflect no Rack mount option. You will need to use a Universal shelf for rackmount installation. TL/5402
Mark • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM Does this have dual volt-meter in front like your other Amp models? I saw one in you tube which had this but wasn't sure. It would be nice to have it also. See the link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7CK7NMmiRc
    Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Mark: The latest version of the AMP300 no longer has the front panel meters. We are also converting the AMP200 removing the meters as well. The Meters were more cosmetic than functional and sometimes when they did not work the amp was playing fine, but people would still want to return the amp. TL/5431
