For the 2nd generation of our extremely popular range of multi-channel amplifiers we have added a feature that many of our customers have been asking for. You can now turn on/off each of the Zones independently, from the front panel. Zones that are not being used can be left off, reducing the amount of power being consumed. This is of particular benefit in systems where there are volume controls situated locally in each zone. Most people do not realize that volume controls are receiving full power from the amps, and then simply attenuating that signal. By turning the zone off no power is being sent to the volume control. This saves energy, and therefore money, and improves the overall efficiency of your system.
