Does this work for the Cisco Digital Transport Adapter 170HD? Cisco spec's an "IR-57" extender cable that operates at 57 Khz.
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Steve:
This IR is an older version that will only do 38KHz. Infrared Resources the manufacturer has a newer version that will do 30 to 60KHz. You will find it on AMAZON; https://www.amazon.com/External-38-56kHz-Receiver-Extender-EXPLORER/dp/B0107LT77S/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1485562786&sr=8-4&keywords=ir+receivers.
Good Luck

I have a Arris cable box will the ir0104 work with this
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Guy:
The IR 104 works on 38 kHz frequency only. If your box is 38 kHz it should work. IR Resources has a new dual frequency Receiver 38 kHz and 56 kHz. You can find it on Amazon.

is this one compatible with spectrum cisco 4742hd box ?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Hi Brenda:
This IR Receiver works with boxes with a frequency of 38Hz. I could not find anywhere on line (including spec sheet or owner's manual) where the CISCO Spectrum boxes listed the frequencies at 38Hz or even 56Hz where it definitely would not work.

What should I use for a Cisco Explorer 9865HDC? Thank you.
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Conni:
I can not find what Frequency the CISCO box operates under. Either 38kHz or 56 kHz. The IR104 we stock is rated at 38 kHz. In the specifications on our site it list a couple of CISCO boxes this will work with. But the list is outdated so your box may work. You might want to get in touch with the company who provides the box to you (the cable or satellite provider) and ask them whether the frequency is 38 kHz or 56 kHz. And ask them if the IR input on the back is active and will accept an IR Receiver. If they say yes and confirm the frequency is at 38 kHz then this is your item. We do have a 30 performance guarantee as well. We are located in Southern California a day away from you.
