The scoop on this plate is about 2" wide. You should be about to get 2-4 HDMI cables through it depending on the size of the heads & gauge of the cables.

Is the OSD Double Gang Pass Through suitable for outdoor use? I need to run speaker wire outdoors and it will need to come through the wall in a somewhat visible area, so I want a cleaner finished look.

Hi Jk,
You can use the wall plate outside. Just keep in mind that the scoop is not sealed so moisture and insects could get in if you fail to seal it off.
