Hello, I want to add a set of speakers to each of my a & b stereo outputs. Only using 2 pairs of the 4 pairs at a time. Can I do this?
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
Roy,
Yeah this A/B switch would be ideal for that.

Can I use this switch between an AMP 120 amplifier and two SVC 205 volume controls (with on/off switch). I want to select between a pair of indoor speakers and 2 pairs of outdoor speakers.
Thanks
Customer Service • 12/17/2019, 2:17:43 PM
HI Ruben,
You can connect one SVC205 (to the internal speakers) to Speaker A of the AMP120 and connect a second SVC205 (to the 2 pair of outdoor speakers) to Speaker B. Here's how the A/B switches work on the AMP120: when you press A, the B switch pops out; when you press B, the A switch pops out. It is designed this way because people typically play only one set of speakers at a time either A or B. Therefore, it would work the same way as the AB-1.2. You would set the impedance matching setting for each SVC205 to 2X.
